Ludie Herring King, age 97 of Arab died Saturday – March 5, 2016 at Shepherds Cove – Hospice of Marshall County in Albertville Alabama.
Ludie was born on October 12, 1918 the daughter of Charles Montgomery Herring & Minne Josephine Edmondson Herring in Marshall County. She was a homemaker and lived in Arab all of her life. She was married to Charles Albert King who died in July of 1977.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Johnny Graves; grandchildren: Kelly Graves Davis (Monty Jr), Amanda Suzanne Graves (Roger Chandler), John Christopher Graves (Anne Marie); great grandchildren: Ryan Davis, Erin Davis, Logan Decker, Zoie Decker, Laura Graves, Sam Graves and Sarah Graves.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. – Tuesday March 8, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother Ken Tyler and Brother Randy Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be Chris Graves, Sam Graves, Monty Davis Jr., Ryan Davis, Logan Decker and Roger Chandler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Earl Coker, Donnie Garrett, Monty Davis, Sr. and Lyle King
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 – Monday , March 7, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
