Lucy Ann (Giobbi) Dunn, 74, formerly of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, in Amarillo, Texas. A viewing for friends and family will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia.
Lucy was born August 28, 1944, in Houston to Joseph and Lucy Giobbi. She graduated from Deshler High School. She dedicated her life to raising her family.
She was a longtime resident of Borger, Texas, where she worked for Golden Plains Hospital as a surgical technician. Since 2014, she lived in Amarillo. In addition to spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Lucy created beautiful, one-of-a-kind clay ornaments which she gifted to loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jimmy Dunn.
Survivors include two daughters, Susie Huddleston and husband, Casey of Amarillo, Texas, and Maria Burke; two sons, Jeff Hyde, of Weogufka, Alabama, and Shea Martin and partner, Nick Chase of Longmont, Colorado; a stepdaughter, Sandy Dunn Wilson and husband Roger, of Fritch, Texas; a sister, Donna Bergstedt and husband John, of Sulphur, Lousiana; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
