Lucindy Shipp Sarr, 83 of Empire, passed away July 25, 2o22. She was a member of Empire Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who cared for her family most of all. One of her favorite pleasures was shopping.
Funeral services will be Thursday July 28, 22 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lane Sargent will officiate. Burial will follow at Empire Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 12:30-2 pm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Sarr; sons, Paul and Danny Sarr; grandchildren, Dano Sarr and Monica Graves and her siblings, Eddie, Sally, Tom and Frank.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Clement (Don), Becky Pate (Richard), Cindy Cooper (Albert), Amy Scott (John), Mark Sarr and Steven Sarr (Shawne); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rita Sarr; sister, Jeanette Huddleston; sisters-in-law, Emogene, Vivian and Jerry Kay; several other relatives and many friends.
