Lucille Roden, 87, of Decatur, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Rob Jackson, Reverend Bryan Blass and Reverend Brad Strom officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. There will be a family luncheon at the church Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
Mrs. Roden was born March 1, 1929, to Will and Flora Clayton. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Travis Roden.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Roden (Cathleen) and Bob Roden (Nathy); daughter, Cathy Strom (Greg); grandchildren, Christy Ford (Ryan), Don Roden (Liz), Rob Roden, Erik Juanillo, Ali Kauss (Don), Brad Strom (Kelly), Joe Strom and Adam Strom; great-grandchildren, Henry, Ruby and Tulip Ford, Hannah and Jake Roden, Bodhi and Rowan Kauss, Sydney, Will and Vivi Strom.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
