Luchion Albert Baker, age 78, Russellville, Alabama passed away at his residence Thursday, September 12, 2013.
The visitation will be from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL; the funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 pm with Bro. David Motes & Bro. John McCullar officiating. Interment will be at East Franklin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Quillen, Eric Harris, Jason Baker, Mike Baker, Shane Baker, Derek Baker, Bradley Baker; honorary pallbearers will be Chris Baker, Johnathon Baker, Jacob Baker, Brandon Baker, Brian Baker.
He was preceded in death by son, Alfred Baker; parents, William & Carrie Baker; siblings, Curtis Baker, Gene Baker, Helen Vandiver & Mildred Warhurst.
He is survived by his children, Ann Potter, Marlene (Rickie) Harris, Charles (Rhonda) Baker, Vernon Baker, Tim (Shelia Cornelison) Baker, Karen (Patrick) Brannon, Jeff Baker, Scottie (Denita) Baker; siblings, Letha (Thurman) Evans, Dean Hatzis, Tinnie Baker; mother of his children, Ophelia Baker; 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
