Lowell "Ray" Petty Lowell Ray Petty age 75 was born on September 5, 1950 to the late Trelvy Hershel and Geneva Eureada Petty. Lowell was a lover of animals, especially of his best friend Jax, his beloved dog. He had cattle, goats and chickens. He worked in the poultry industry while opening a feed store where he loved talking and laughing will all his friends. He was considered a modern day cowboy/outdoorsman to the full extent and an avid gardener. However, his greatest joys were his grandchildren, children and his wife Linda. He was a wonderful father and husband. To his family he was their Superman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Petty; and grandson, J.T. Crabb.

He is survived by his children, Beth Hallmark (Dudley), Kevin Emerson, Tonuia Dill (Michael), Brandie Flynn (Shane) and Sherry Steele; brother, Trelvy Petty (Linda); grandchildren, Ryan Taylor, Haley Emerson, Jody Dill, Summer Duncan (Jay), Ryder Steele (Lauren), River Steele (Anna); great-grandchildren, Jagger Duncan, Jessie-Mae Duncan, Halle Steele, Hedi Steele and Gunner Steele, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
