Lowell Herman Jackson, Sr., age 69 Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday October 19, 2012 at his home. He was retired with 20 years of service from the United States Army, served 3 tours during the Vietnam War. His vistation will be held on Monday October 22, 2012 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, AL. with a graveside service held at 2:30PM at Winston Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his children; Lowell H. Jackson, Jr. and wife Rhoda of Maryland; Brian A. Jackson and wife Meriam of Guin, AL.; and Joyce Cavender and husband Kurt of Bear Creek, AL.; 3 grandchildren,Keysha and Benji Woodard of Haleyville, AL.; Kody Cavender of Haleyville, AL.; Jun H. Jackson of Florence, AL.; great grandchildren, Nadalie Grace Woodard and Ashlie Kate Woodard; brothers, Oneal Jackson and Joe Jackson; sisters, Corky Crow and husband Wayne and Violet Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Howard Jackson and Myrti Jackson; grandchild, Kacy Allen Cavender.
