Lovenia “Janie” Browning (T.J.), age 64, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2026. She was born on November 25, 1961.
Janie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Much of her time was spent loving on her grandchildren, and even more time was spent talking about them. Her family was the center of her world, and she was a deeply loved presence in the lives of all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Duncan; her mother, Eva Duncan; and her grandson, Boromir Nixon. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Browning; her children, Amanda Browning, Jason Browning, Alex (Diana) Nixon, Jake (Shauna) Nixon, and Nathan (Kellie) Browning; and fifteen cherished grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
The family requests that visitors bring flowers to be left at the graveside.
