Louise Stewart Lancaster, age 87, of Killen, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2013.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 11, noon-2 p.m. at Killen United Methodist Church. Services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. AL Geise officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Louise was a member of Killen United Methodist Church and a graduate of U.T. Chattanooga. She will be best remembered by her children and grandchildren reading the Bible and daily devotionals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Lancaster Jr.;
son, David A. Lancaster; and brother, C.K. Stewart Jr.
Survivors include
sons, Fred Lancaster III (Diane), and Dr. John W. Lancaster (Sheri);
sister, Mary Elizabeth Stewart Claiborne;
brother, The Rev. Dr. Joe F. Stewart (Carroll);
grandchildren, David A. Lancaster Jr., Ashley F. Lancaster (Edward), Amber M. Lancaster, Courtney Louise Lancaster, John Samuel “Sam” Lancaster, Brittany E. Letherer,
Tracy G. Flowers, Cliff R. Ghrigsby and Heather L. Ghrigsby,
