Louise Rogers Bonds, 99, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Red Bay, AL on December 30, 1925 to Garland and Byrd Rogers. She married Doyal Bonds at age seventeen and they were married sixty-nine years when he passed away in 2012. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, word puzzles and playing with her great-grands. Louise was the oldest member of First Baptist Church in Red Bay.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 17, 5 p.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery with Bro. Bill Harper officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Louise is survived by a daughter-in-law, Dale Bonds, Tupelo, MS; three grandchildren, Marc McCarthy (Berry) and their children, Ruxen and Nash, Arlington, VA; Leigh Wade (Will) and their children, Thomas, Taylor and Kennedy, Louisville, MS. and Logan McCullough (Dr. Burks) and their children, Parker and Madison, Tupelo, MS; a brother, Norris Rogers, Red Bay, AL and a niece, Krista Thomas (Paul) and their children, Andrew, Preston (Allie Grace) and Jack, Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Martha, her son, Thomas and a sister-in-law, Carol Ann.
