Louise McClung Lane, 77, Leighton, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. No services will be held at this time. Louise will be in Shady Grove Methodist Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Nelms; brothers, Ed, Roy, Willie, Frank, and Johnny McClung; and sisters, Frances Canida, Lou Schrieffer, and Irene Bevis.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Lisa Elledge (Jeff) and Jeannie Howard (Sam); brother, Robert McClung (Sheila); grandchildren, Lakin Howell (Ricky), Tiffanie Stewart (Matt), Kelli Puckett (Brandon), Austin Tucker, and Dylan Nelms; eight great-grandchildren, Brynleigh, Ryker, Kaygen, Jax, Willow, Riley, Ally Grace, and Lilly; and beloved pet dog, Sandy.
The family offers special thanks to Sheila McClung, Richard Bevis, and to Alabama Hospice of the Shoals, especially Danielle and Jasmine.
