Louise Harvill Butler, 92, of Prospect, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at National Health Care Center in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Born Friday, September 2, 1921 in Centerville, TN she was the daughter of the late Young Jerome Harvill and the late Katherine Flowers Harvill. She was preceded in death by husband, James Hunt Butler.
She lived most of her life in this area and was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Draughons Business College in Nashville, TN where she played basketball. She was secretary for Elkton School for
twenty-five years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching basketball and baseball.
Surviving are son, Jimmy (Linda) Butler of Conway, TN; daughter, Brenda (Steve) Anderson, Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, Jamie McMillon, Kevin Rich, Jay Butler, Jarred Butler; two step-grandchildren, Jason and David Anderson; and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore AL. with Jason Shackleford officiating. Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama
