Louise Hardy age 90 of Athens, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Hardy was born February 29, 1924 in Limestone County, AL to Lewis Holmes and Sue Ella Scruggs Holmes.
Services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Kasey Harbin and Kevin Harbin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Hardy Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardy was a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hardy; two sons, Wayne Hardy and Danny Lee Hardy; two daughters, Vicky Cockrell and Debra Green; grandson, Jamie Adams; sister, Ella Sue Holland.
Survived by three daughters, Joyce Harbin and husband, Crutcher, Reba Adams and husband, James and Sherry K. Hardy; two sons, Gilbert Hardy and wife, Shirley and Benton Hardy; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keith Harbin, Kenneth Harbin, Kim Harbin, Landon Adams, Nathaniel Adams and Chase Harbin.
