Mary Louise Grimes Oswalt of Nashville, TN was born January 11, 1925 in Waynesboro,TN to the late Claude and Gladys Grimes. She was united in marriage to Jack Oswalt on January 8, 1949.
Mrs. Oswalt left this earth to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at her home at the age of 88 years.
She is survived by, her husband, Jack Oswalt, daughters, Claudia (Tony) Biley and Renee’ Connally, granddaughters, Lauren (Cameron) Robinson and Kara (Chris) Binkley, grandson, Cody Connally, great-grandchildren, Jayda and Jackson Robinson, sisters, Frances Kelly and Magaret Gallaher, sister-in-law, Rose Grimes, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends that she loved deeply. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Joe Oswalt,sister, Ann Rodgers, brothers, Walter Grimes, Jim Grimes, and Claude Wilson Grimes, Jr., in-laws, Marion Gallaher, Barbara Grimes, Dot Grimes, and John Kelly and other family and dear friends that she is now rejoicing being able to be with them again.
Mrs. Oswalt’s family is following her request of direct cremation without a service and request memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Her cremains will be buried in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family.
