Louise Elizabeth Sanford Corley, 52, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo after a brief struggle with cancer. Louise was born in Liciester, England on December 18, 1963 to James Sanford and Elizabeth Comrey Stacey Sanford. She spent most of her life in the Grenada area where she worked in many years in the childcare industry before becoming a homemaker. A member of the Grenada Church of God, she engaged fully in life and enjoyed the company of her family and friends especially her grandchildren. An avid reader, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to the beach and all yard sales.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Grenada Church of God,2384 Carrollton Road, Grenada, Miss. with Bro. James McElroy officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery in Carroll County. Visitation will be from Noon-service time Friday only at the Grenada Church of God. Those she loved most include her parents: Jim and Liz Sanford of Tupelo; her daughter, Beth Hood (Kenny) of Grenada; her son, Jerry Bishop (JenniferBass) of Tupelo. 3 grandchildren; Baliegh, Tucker and Averi. 3 brothers: Robert Sanford, Edward Sanford and Andrew Sanford. Her nieces and nephews: Stacey, Matthew, sean, Emma and Josh and a great nephew, Nico.
