Louis Rushing – Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Louis Rushing, age 77, are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with Bro. Bobby Beecham and Bro. David Beecham officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery in Decaturville. Mr. Rushing passed away late Wednesday in Jackson. He was born August 11, 1941 in Decatur County to the late Judge Hasten Rushing and Naomi Sue Thomas Rushing. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, retired from Leroy Somer, and was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Lexington. Mr. Rushing loved fishing, hunting, and gardening, and was excellent at growing tomatoes. Most of all, he loved his family dearly. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Shirley Beecham Rushing; his daughter, Kimberly Neisler; three brothers, Jerry (Wilma) Rushing, Johnny (Diane) Rushing, and Jimmy (Suzzette) Rushing; one sister, Janet Rushing; three grandchildren, Kellye Neisler, Tanner Neisler, and Isabella Bowman; and one great grandchild, Kayson Neisler.
