Mr. Shelton died on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1247 Eva Road (residence). He was born Monday, October 17, 1932, in Cullman County to Steve L. Shelton and Mary Atha (Yarbrough) Shelton.
Funeral service will be Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stanley Reeves officiating and Geoff Halbrooks assisting and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Oden Ridge. Visitation will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Shelton was a Construction worker for Brasfield and Gorrie prior to retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters: Gladys Stewart, Mary Adams, Georgia Shelton, Opal Denton and Macie Denton, Brothers: John Shelton, Paul Shelton, Arvin Shelton, Floyd Shelton, Arnold Shelton and Gilbert Shelton.

Huey Shelton (Becky) and
Asa Shelton (Vonda)
Pallbearers will be Will Catoe, David Shelton, Mike Tankersley, Ryan Tankersley, Carl Tucker, and Garrett Tucker.
Honorary Pallbearers will be V.A. Oden, Alton Page, George Hudgins, Mike Corley, Sherril Chaffin, and Houston Strickland.
