Lou Ann Warren

February 15, 1940 – July 11, 2023

Born in Hazard, Kentucky and raised in Winchester, Tennessee. Ann was an elementary school teacher and media specialist. She loved teaching but especially loved the children she helped educate.

Her career took her from Winchester to Franklin, TN to Dalton, GA where she settled in 1980 and became a beloved member of the community and her church, the River Community Church. She especially enjoyed mission trips where she could be the hands and feet of Jesus. If anyone made a difference in this world, Ann did.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents George Thomas Warren and Juanita Kaylor Warren and her brother, George Davis Warren.

She is survived by her brother, Tom Warren (Cathy), sister-in-law Jeannie Warren, nieces Donna Carr (Jim), Janet Feller (Mike), Nancy Holt (Warner), Ann Claire McKeehan (Joe), Mollie Nelson (Hal), nephews Chris Warren (Heather) and Sean Warren (Melissa). She is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews, several cousins and many friends.

Interment is planned for 10:00 o’clock on July 22nd at Winchester Memorial Park in Winchester, TN and a memorial service is planned for 2:00 o’clock July 23rd at The River Community Church, Dalton, GA.
