Funeral service for Lottie Simmons McCormick, 79, will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Ms. McCormick died on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 20, 1938, in Lawrence County to Edward Justin Simmons and Minnie Pearl Sparks Simmons. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Leonard S. McCormick, two brothers: Thomas and James Simmons and two sisters: Ruby Moore and Hattie Mae Simmons.
The family would like to offer a “Special Thanks” to the Staff of Southern Care Hospice, especially Tabitha Brown and Bridgett Peppers, Volunteer Caregiver: Lorrain Black, Special Friends: Jack and Brenda Darby, Dr. Lindsey Smith and the Clearview Cancer Center.
