Lottie Lorene Bennett, age 63, Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, January 01, 2016 at her residence.
Lottie worked for years in a textile plant. She was a loving wife, great mother, and a wonderful grandmother. She was a mother to everyone. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 02, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 03, 2016 at Hopewell Church of Christ, LaGrange Road in Leighton, with the body lying in state one hour prior the service. Bro. Danny Winningham and Bro. Gerald Pennington will officiate the service. Burial will be in the adjourning church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 44 years, Bennie Bennett; daughter, Geanie Bennett Jeffreys; son, Cody Bennett; granddaughter, Lilith Bennett Jeffreys; sister, Billie Faye Crumpton; brothers, Joseph Garrett, Robert Garrett; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Lee Bennett; parents, Joseph & Mildred Garrett; and sister, Edna Rose Inman.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Pounders, the nurses and staff of Keller Hospice and Shoals Cancer Center for their love and care of our family.
