Lorrie Beth Black Nichols, age 50 of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, December, 21, 2016. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, 12-2p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Mitchell Dalrymple officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Lorrie was a beloved Mother, Grandmother “Mylo”, and was a member of Piney Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Black and brother, Jeff Black.
She is survived by her husband; Scottie Nichols; mother, Patsy Ruth Skidmore Black; daughters, Bethanie Nichols Pace and husband Justin, Baylie Nichols Yates and husband, Jeremy; brother, Chris Black and wife, Paige; sisters, Jennifer Fisher and husband, Brian, Rhonda Szcepanski and husband, Rick; four grandchildren, Cooper and Emerson Pace, Emmaline and Ellisyn Yates; nephews, Drake, Carson, Gage and Griffin Peoples, Landon and Logan Black; niece, Abigail Black.
Pallbearers are Drake, Carson, Gage, and Griffin Peoples, Justin Pace, and Jeremy Yates.
Honorary Pallbearers are, Landon and Logan Black.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for the Lorrie Nichols Memorial Fund at Bank Independent or to the American Cancer Society.
