Funeral for Lorie Laymon, age 55, of Hartselle will be Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Laymon, who died Monday, August 29, 2022, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born May 27, 1967, to Frank McCarley and Bonnie Richards. She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather – Neal Cottingham, brother – John McCarley, and nephew – Bryan Johnson

Daughter – Rebekah Stricklin (Justin)
