Loria Valentine Hamstra, 68, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Loria had worked as a nurse and will forever be remembered for her dedication to her family and friends, the love for her animals, and speaking her mind. She spent the last 35 years being a devoted wife to her loving husband, David.
Survivors include her husband, David Hamstra, her siblings, Joann Tenbrink, Kenneth Valentine, and Sonny-James Valentine, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Bessie Wilson Valentine, her sister, Katherine Valentine Hamstra, her brother, Dwayne Valentine, and her father-in-law, Homer Hamstra.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Jesse Washington officiating. Visitation will begin at 10AM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Old Oak Grove Cemetery in Union County.
