Loretto Agnes Wolf Garvie, 82, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. She was a member of Holy Spirt Legion of Mary, a volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul, past president of Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, and a volunteer with United Cerebral Palsy.
Mrs. Garvie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Wolf and Loretto Elizabeth Wolf; children, Edward Arthur Garvie and Willie Don Garvie, Jr.; siblings, Marie Therese Baltz, Charles Quest Wolf, Thomas Edward Wolf, and Dorothy Frances Solgot.
Survivors include husband, of 62 years, Willie Don Garvie of Huntsville; children, Mary Garvie Weber (Jim) of Milton, GA, Elizabeth Garvie White (Randy) of Hermitage, TN, Loretto Garvie Gentry (Joe) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Weber, Kelly Weber, Christopher White, Stephen White (Kendall), Lauren Withrow (Murray), Amanda Gentry, Charles Gentry, and Winston Gentry; great-grandchildren, Murray, Ezra, and Josiah Withrow; siblings Casper Vincent Wolf and Helen Josephine Mason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Father Mike MacMahon officiating.
