Loretta Emmons was born January 29, 1940 in Tennessee the daughter of the late Paul and Essie Nixon Hurley.
She was united in marriage to Willie Emmons on September 18, 1957. Mr. Emmons preceded her in death on May 12, 2015.
Loretta retired from ITT in Corinth, MS after 25 plus years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved attending church, her church family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Emmons departed this life on January 1, 2024 in Corinth, MS. She is survived by a son, Shannon Emmons and wife Sue of Guys, TN; three grandchildren, Shay Emmons and wife Bianca of Adamsville, TN, Shayna Roy and husband Luke of Guys, TN, Samantha Wilson of Guys, TN; eight great grandchildren, Shayla, Isabella, Victoria, Amelia, Max, Brayden, Reece, and Riley; two brothers, Billy Joe Hurley and wife Irene of Stantonville, TN and Dean Hurley of Stantonville, TN.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Glenda Hurley.
