Lorene Nix Mauldin, 99, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015. Visitation will be today from 1-2 p.m. at Margerum Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow with Rod Stansky officiating. The burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her husband, C.T. Mauldin and son, Ray Mauldin.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Mauldin; brother, J.D. Nix; grandchildren, Hunter Mauldin, Tonya Beyersdorf, and Rhonda Guenther;great-grandchildren, Caleb Beyersdorf, Tyler and Kristen Guenther.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family expresses special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama.
