Funeral Services for Lorene Fowler Peck, age 92, of Hartselle, will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September, 9, 2017 in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Shaddix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM prior to the service on Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Peck was born in Morgan County on December 10, 1924 to Henry and Fannie Blevins Fowler and passed away on September 6, 2017 at Summerford Nursing Home.
Lorene attended the Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse in Birmingham, at Bank Street Hospital in Decatur and for many years worked in the surgery department at Decatur General Hospital where she was known as Ms. Ed.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartselle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Peck, parents, Henry Starling and Fannie Victoria Blevins Fowler; brothers, William Porter Fowler, Willard Jack Fowler and Wilton Starling Fowler; sisters, Miriam Louise Bowling, Fannie Loella McDonald and Minnie Lora McDonald.
She is survived by her son Terry Pearson and wife Kathleen and her sister Flora Lucille Cobbs and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
