Lorene Edna Wiseheart, 90, who died Monday, December 1, 2014, was born November 4, 1924, to Charles and Willie Ann Owens Willis. She was a member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church and a 40-plus volunteer at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Mrs. Wiseheart was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, George Allen Wiseheart; and one son, Gary Austin Wiseheart.
Mrs. Wiseheart is survived by one son, Larry Allen Wiseheart (Helen) of Tewksbury, MA; seven grandchildren, Lorene Monahon (Dennis), Gretchen Cadavid (Robert), Justin (Katelyn) Wiseheart, Timothy Wiseheart, Larry Wiseheart II, Nathan Wiseheart (Brittany) and Ashley Sims (Nick) and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Bobbie N. Hartwell of Milton, FL; two brothers, Jerry C. Willis of Elizabethon, TN and Johnny Willis of Nauvoo, AL.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Heathcock and Rev. Jeff Sellers officiating. A time of visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Rudell, Nathan Wiseheart, Justin Wiseheart, Larry Wiseheart II, Henry Allen and Nick Sims.
