Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Dunavant, age 89, are scheduled for 12 Noon on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Bolen’s Chapel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Dunavant passed away early Thursday in McKenzie. She was born August 9, 1926 in Lexington to the late Noel and Lula Dew Fesmire. She was a former Lexington Metal employee, a member of Bolen’s Chapel Baptist Church, and enjoyed sewing and sight-seeing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lonnie Dunavant; three sisters, Lucille Roberts, Betty Jean Essary, and Clara Hart; and one brother, James Henry Fesmire. Survivors include her son, Ron Dunavant (Janna) of Cedar Grove; her brother, Lloyd Fesmire of Lexington; and one grandson, Logan O’Neal Dunavant.
