Lorene Benson, 76, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Benson was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Church of Christ.
The graveside service will be Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Belgreen Cemetery, with burial immediately after. Officiating will be Keith Barnett.
Survivors include husband, Dayton Benson; daughters, Debbie Benson and Shirley Seal; special son, Chris Hilderbrand; sisters, Jean Hilderbrand, June Basco, Jimmie Lou Slaughter and Ruby Musgrove; brothers, J.C. Sparks, Charles Sparks and George Sparks; special grandson, Adam Hilderbrand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Eura Lee Sparks; and brother, Wayne Sparks.
