Loren Thomas Stephens, 82, of Athens, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, at Limestone Health Facility under the care of hospice. Mr. Stephens was born on November 27th, 1939, in Randolph, Kentucky, to Walter Thomas Stephens and Effie Marie Pedigo Stephens.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Helen Frances Siler Stephens; children, Michael Thomas Stephens and wife Sherry, Tammy Marie Smith and husband Jeff, and Tanya Michelle Harwell and husband Jeff; nine grandchildren of whom five are married; four great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Visitation will be 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 14th, 2022, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), on Tuesday, November 15th, at Buffalo Springs Cemetery, in Stanford, Kentucky.
