Lore Harrison, 95, went home to Jesus on June 11, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Lore was born in Hamburg, Germany on September 18, 1924 to Paul and Louise Zippert. She married Buford Harrison and immigrated to the United States in 1949. She was a member of West Huntsville Baptist Church and served as church secretary 1961-1973. Lore is known as a woman of prayer and strong faith in Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her three children: Carolyn Harrison, Sharon Harrison DeLaughter (Barry), and Gary Harrison (Cheryl) and 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband Buford and her sisters, Rose Demko and Magdalena Zippert.
A memorial service will be held at West Huntsville Baptist Church at 12:15 on June 14th.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to the West Huntsville Baptist missions fund.
