Lora Sue Perry Ball, age 73, passed away at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo on August 6, 2026. She was born September 13, 1952, to John Eugene Perry and Freddie May Caldwell. She was a graduate of Pontotoc High School and graduated from cosmetology school in Tupelo. She was a beautician for many years. She was a member of West Heights Baptist Church. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 2 to 4 P.M., at Browning Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, with Rev. David Hamilton officiating, at Browning Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Heights Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Ball family with the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ball, a daughter, Pam Jennings (David), a son, Tim Ball (Amy), two sisters, Jeanie Warren (Bill) and Resa Simmons, a nephew, Mitchell Malone (Cheryl), four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Dustin Wayne Ball.
Pallbearers will be Tim Ball, Jacob Ball, Ryan Yarbrough, Mitchell Malone, Perry Malone and Jeff Thomason.
