Mrs. Lora Alvada Trussell, 70, passed away Wednesday January 20, 2016 at a Nashville, Tennnessee Hospital. She was born in Huntland, Tennessee on April 6, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddy and Ida Taylor Trussell; husband, Eddie Trussell; sister, Ida Broome
She was a member of the Pan Handle Baptist Church at Beersheba Springs.
She is survived by her daughters, Theresa (William) Cox, Altamont, Maura (David) Williams, Manchester and Penny Morales, Shelbyville; son, Sean Patrick Daugherty, Knoxville; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kenneth W. Barrett Sr. Officiating with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Huntland, Tennessee. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
