Mr. Lonzie C. Clemons, 83 of Florence passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Glenwood Healthcare. He was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.
Visitation is today, February 10, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the church with burial to follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Steve Bender.
Mr. Clemons is survived by his wife, Ruby Lucille Allison Clemons, two sons, Jerry and Roy Clemons, daughter, Freda Fell, two step-daughters, Karen Piazza, and Janice Mansell, step-son, Roger Burbank, brother, James Audie Clemmons, and a sister, Myrtle Holden, 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include, Levi Fell, Isiah Fell, Travis Clemons, Dustin Burbank, Tracy Mansell, and Jacob Cook.
Patrick Burbank will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church building fund.
