Funeral for Lonnie Lee Laymon, 64, of Decatur will be today, Jan. 15, 2016 at noon at Parkway Funeral Home with Michael Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
Mr. Laymon died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1951, to Lonnie and Emma Laymon. He enjoyed his family, kids, hunting and fishing. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Laymon; son, Lonnie Jessie Laymon; three daughters, Joyce Workman, Lisa Davidson and Rebecca Boutwell; three brothers, J.C. Laymon, Kenneth Laymon and Marvin Laymon; two sisters, Lucille Blackwell and Gracie Kitchens; eight grandchildren, Jessie Laymon, Joseph Clem, Cherokee Clem, Colton Workman, Jaelyn Laymon, Hayden Boutwell, Angel Boutwell and Karma Laymon; and one great-grandchild, Leanna Laymon.
Pallbearers will be McGee Laymon, John Laymon, Perry Davis, Joseph Clem and Colton Workman.
