Lonnie Grant Briley Jr., age 79, of Florence, passed away April 24, 2018. Visitation was Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will be today, April 26, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mike Rodriguez and Brother Bill Newman officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Briley was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired supervisor with Reynolds Aluminum and was a member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Virgie Briley; brother, Malcolm Briley; and sister, Mildred Berryman.
Survivors include his wife, Vonda Eddy Briley; son, Jason Briley; sister, Bernice Kerby; and brothers, William Briley (Ann) and Jerry Briley (Peggy).
Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be his small group class at Grace Life Church.
