Lonnie Duane Mays, 70, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Mayflower, CA and was a welder.
There will be no funeral services. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL assisted the family.
He is survived by three children, Jackie Mays Parks (Wesley), Jason Mays (Robin) and Channon Porterfield (Tim); five grandchildren, P.J. Underwood, Cherokee Underwood, Robert Mays, Michael Mays and Christian Mays; one great-grandchild, Aubrey Underwood and one sister, Pat Diedrich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Elmer Mays and Mary Mays; two brothers, Terry Mays and James Mays and one sister, Sheila Webber.
