A congratulatory message to both The Stricklin and Boiler Room from the Shoals Chamber:

Congratulations to the Stricklin Hotel and Boiler Room-Florence teams for creating great spaces to bring the Shoals and visitors together for business meetings, events, and fun!

Some information on The Stricklin and the Boiler Room:

THE STRICKLIN

The Stricklin Hotel, located on the second and third floors of the historic Stricklin Building, was originally constructed in 1946 as a three-story, 23,373 square feet of commercial space and converted to a multi-business facility in 2017. The first-floor houses the infamous Big Bad Breakfast, open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The basement of the Stricklin Building includes an upscale vintage bowling alley and gaming space, The Boiler Room, open from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Sunday – Wednesday and 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM Thursday – Saturday.

BOILER ROOM-FLORENCE

We are a place for people to come and be themselves. We’ve stocked The Boiler Room with a collection of unequaled games, as well as food beverages for you to enjoy. We believe in exploring evenings filled with shuffleboard, darts, skeeball, foosball, made-from-scratch food by Big Bad Breakfast and of course, vintage bowling. The Boiler Room is a place where there are untold memories waiting to be made up and coming singer/songwriters to be heard. Come and discover The Boiler Room for yourself.”

The Shoals Chamber was on hand to capture the Grand Opening in photos…we present them to you here:
