Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Vernell Powers Roberts, age 88, are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, April 19, 2019 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts passed away late Wednesday night at her home in Sardis. She was born October 1, 1930 in Henderson County to the late Arnie and Delighter Millner Powers. She was a retired employee of Johnson Controls, was Baptist in belief, and loved working in her flower bed, gardening, and needle work. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Mr. Gerald Roberts; and her brother-in-law, Charles Roberts. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Angie Morris Powers and an infant sister.
