Mrs. Lois Sampley Gibson age 88, of Hollywood, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 1st, 2025.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by her children, Cynthia (Ricky) Kirby, Donna West, Wallace (Phyllis) Gibson, Paul (Glenda) Gibson; grandchildren, Christopher Kirby, Kevin Kirby, Nathan Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Todd Wilson, Tracy Wilbourn, Emery Massey, Laura Robertson, Chasity Gibson; 28 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; care givers, Betty Steele, Lily Gibson, Martha Fairbanks, Travis Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.E. “Buster” and Mary Ann Sampley; husband, Robert D. Gibson.
In lieu of flowers donations to the “Hope Hill Church” in memory of Lois Gibson would be appreciated.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Robertson, and Rev. Chris Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family of the late Mrs. Bertha Gibson will receive friends Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
