Lois Maxine Montana, age 81 of Huntsville, passed away at a local hospital Tuesday. A native of Topeka, Kansas, she was born to Clyde Pease and Mary Anna Holmes Altman. She enjoyed traveling and camping. She was a member of Our Queen Lady of the Universe Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Montana.
Mrs. Montana is survived by her loving husband, John Montana, two sons, Jon Montana & wife Moselle & David Montana, daughter, Carol Montana, half-brother, Ron Pease, six grandchildren, Billy F. Clardy, III, Christopher A. Clardy, Jeb C. Gentle, Katie A. Cortez, Wendy B. Gay, & Kelly A. Dunlap, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, & several nieces & nephews.
Services are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery at 10:00 AM Saturday.
