Lois Mae Clark passed away Monday January 27th, 2014 in Muscle Shoals Alabama after a long and fruitful life, she was 93. She was born in Sargent County, North Dakota in 1920, later moving to southern California as a child. She moved to Norfolk Virginia as a young adult where she started her career as a nurse working at hospitals for many years.

She was also an accomplished seamstress and made many of her own clothes.
In the mid 1980’s she moved to Guntersville, Alabama to retire and was joined by her daughter soon thereafter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Steimke and Roberta A. Steimke; brothers Gerald Steimke and Arnold Steimke; husband James B. Clark and son Wayne W. Boyle, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Boyle of Muscle Shoals, AL; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Boyle of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren Kimberly Turner and Nichole Turner of New York, NY, Richard Turner and family of Norfolk, VA, Wayne (Sherri) Boyle Jr. of Killen, AL, Christian Boyle and James (Amy) Boyle of Huntsville, AL; along with six great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be Friday January 31, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with funeral services to begin at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel.
Her final resting place will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk Virginia beside her late husband James B. Clark.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the American Red Cross.
