Lois Mable Luttrell “Gammy”, 93, of Harvest passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday. Mrs. Luttrell was a very dedicated housewife and mother, and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Casto Luttrell, Sr.
Survivors include children, Debbie Luttrell, Floyd Casto Luttrell, Jr. (Sue) of Nashville, TN, Michael Roy Luttrell (Doris) of Sommerville, and Joe Phillip Luttrell (Bonnie) of Guntersville; grandchildren, Tammy Meadows (Robert), Misty Enabnit (Brett), Jessica Wheeler (Shane), Josh Luttrell (Anna Caye) and Cas Luttrell; nine great-grandchildren; brother, John Smith (Bess); sisters, Virginia McKinney (John) and Hilda Golden; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel with Fred Smith officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice.
