Lois Irene Nobles Woods, 92, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Collinsville Nursing Home in Collinsville, AL. She was born in Clay County, Mississippi, and became a resident of Iuka the summer of 1948. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church for 65 years. She owned a dress shop, The Style Shop, on Eastport Street. She enjoyed playing the piano, painting, and spending time with family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 1 PM until 2 PM on Sunday, November 17 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Shane Evetts. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dan Young, Buddy James, John Kent, Emery Jones, James Floyd Walker, Tommy Jack Ramsey, and Bill Woods. Jim Woods will serve as an honorary bearer. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Dr. Wayne Woods (Linda) of Fort Payne, AL; his sister – Wilma Lankford of Huntsville, AL; 1 grandson – Matthew Wayne Woods (Jeannie); 2 great grandchildren – Matthew Blake Woods, age 8, and Katherine Elizabeth Woods, age 4, all of Fort Payne, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Hays Woods; and her parents, Cleve and Martha Nobles.
