Lois Ann Steele, 86, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born Monday, November 9, 1936 to Hatcher Bailes and Hallie Blackwell Bailes.
Ms. Steele was a member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore and has lived here most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Dale Steele; and son-in-law, Steve Bailey.
She is survived by her husband, James Steele of Ardmore, TN; son, David (Tammy) Steele of Clarksville, VA; daughters, Karen Bailey and Lisa (Terry) Mullins both of Toney, AL; daughter-in-law, Denise Steele of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Adam (Kate)Steele, Jordan Steele, Rich Mullins and Michael (Courtney) Bailey; and great-grandchild, Weston Bailey.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL followed by a Chapel Service with Bro. Alan Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
