Lois Aldridge Miller, 94, of Decatur, died Saturday, February 14, 2015. A celebration of her life will be today, February 17, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Rev. Carl Maynard is officiating.
Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Sidney Aldridge; her husband, Alford Miller; great-granddaughter, Ashley Austin; great-grandson, Zac Rittenberry; and brothers, Ira, Elmer and Roy Aldridge.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Lee Miller(Shelia); daughters, Marjorie Thomas(Wayne) and Julia Bools(Jerry); five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Lois lived her life as a homemaker, factory worker, and a seamstress. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with all of her family.
Pallbearers include Wayne Thomas Jr., Mark Nelson, Jon-Mark Nelson, Dale Aldridge, Greg Lee and Adam Kelley.
Honorary pallbearers include Justin Austin, Eric Rittenberry and Zac Rittenberry.
