“Logan, I’ve been looking for you!”
Logan and his Pawpaw, Carrol Tippett, have found each other now. They wait for us who are left grieving, but one day they will welcome us with open arms, lots of hugs and words, “I love you”, as we arrive.
Logan Tippett, age 19, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, in a vehicle accident near Opelika, Ala. He was a young man of quiet smiles and love for his family.
Logan is preceded in death by his Pawpaw, Carrol Tippett; great-grandmother, Dean Tubbs, Florence, Ala.
He is survived by his parents, Jason Tippett and wife, Glenda, of Gardendale, Ala.; Traci Witcher and husband, Doug, of Opelika, Ala.; sisters, Megan Tippett Shettlesworth and husband, Brian, and Heather Tippett, of Birmingham, AL; special niece, Madeline Shettlesworth; uncle, Jody Tippett and wife, Sherry, of Killen; aunt Julie (Juju) Tippett LeFoy and husband, Jamie, Center Star; grandmother, Barbara Tubbs Hill and husband, Johnnie, of Florence; grandfather, Papa Jerry Wagner and wife, Bonnie; and great-grandmother, Dorothy Wagner, all of Wisconsin.
The visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home from noon to 2 p.m. with the funeral service at 2 p.m. Brother Ronny Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Florence Cemetery, near his Flower Granny, Dean Tubbs.
