Logan Steps Down As Tuscumbia Police Chief Taking New Position With The City

TUSCUMBIA-Effective Monday Tuecumbia Police Chief Tony Logan will have a new position within the City of Tuscumbia.  He has accepted the position of Public Safety Administrator for the City. Logan will have oversight of all first responder positions with the City. He says he will still serve as a media contact for police but additionally now fire.

The City will declare the Chief’s position vacant on Monday night and put Deputy Chief Higginbotham as an interim chief until a new chief is selected.
