Lisa Donette Cupples Edens age 50, died August 15, 2018 at Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center.
She was born April 26, 1968 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Wilma Faye Kirby Cupples. She grew up in Henderson and graduated from Chester County High School in 1986. She married Allen Edens in 1996. They moved to Texas in 2006, where Allen serves in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood, TX.
Lisa loved cats. She was kind to all animals. She also had a green thumb, gardening in plants and flowers.
She was a born again Christian, and in her younger years she loved playing the piano at church. She loved reading and writing poetry.
She was proud of being an Army spouse, and loved her Soldier husband.
Mrs. Edens is survived by her husband, Frankie Allen Edens, Jr. of Luray, and a brother, Marty Cupples of Lexington, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main with Jerry McCorkle officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday.
